  • a copy of their passport
  • evidence of funds
  • accommodation
  • a letter of support if you are not paying for the application.


Do we require to show evidence of our relationship if boyfriend & girlfriend?

How long does it take to process a general visitor’s visa?


It currently takes 15 working days, you can also pay a 5-day priority visa service at an extra cost.


Where is the application submitted?


The application is submitted at VFS, located at the Trendy Building in Bangkok Thailand?



Do we need to book an appointment to submit the application – and to provide biometrics?


Yes, this is booked as part of the application. When you apply, you’ll be asked to make an appointment at a visa application center to provide your biometric information. Also marked on the UK visa document checklist (see above).


Are my documents scanned to Dehli at the UK visa application center in Bangkok?


Yes, photocopies must be submitted, they must be clear and legible.


Can I withdraw my passport when applying?


Yes, for an extra fee you can hold onto your passport when applying. All documents must be free from clips, pons or staples, and you must use barcode separators.


Can I courier my passport back to my home address?


For an extra fee, you can return your passport via EMS.
